My path began in Hamburg
My path began in Hamburg, Germany, where I studied human medicine. Already at the beginning of my studies, I became interested in various natural healing modalities. Hence, I decided to do a four-week clinical traineeship in Beijing in my second semester. I was 24 years old at the time. It was the start of a lifelong passion. When I returned, I started taking courses at the SMS (Societas Medicinae Sinensis). I was attending acupuncture lectures at the University of Hamburg when I met Prof. Johannes Greten in class one day, who invited me to expand my knowledge at the German Society for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Heidelberg.
It was with great pleasure that I regularly attended courses in Heidelberg and in the herb garden in Provence, where my understanding of Chinese medicine was deepened over the years thanks to their valuable and impressive work. The overall picture became clear and straightforward.
• After completing my six-year degree and doctorate, I went to Zurich to train as a specialist for five years. The wide range of experiences, including intensive care and emergency medicine, impressed upon me how important these areas are and that as a physician, I would not want to do without a lot of them.
• Both the six months I spent in Hangzhou, China, learning from various Chinese doctors in hospitals, and the three years I spent in Professor Greten’s practice consolidated my knowledge and gave me profound practical experience.
• After three years in Heidelberg, I ended my work there out of a desire to learn more about mental healing based on my broad training in conventional and Chinese medicine.
All in all, I had realized that there was another level of understanding and exploration that I desired in addition to my already solid education. To do this, I took some time out and embarked on a long journey. I was also determined to find a solution to my own years of suffering.
What followed was as series of incredible experiences for me at the time.
On this journey, I let my intuition guide me and experienced things which were nothing short of “incredible”.
• From Chris Griscom in New Mexico, I learned a technique for breaking up ingrained programs and patterns at the cellular level using imaginary colors and light in a therapeutic setting. I personally experienced there that there are ways to positively influence these entrenched programs.
• I then flew to Hawaii and intensively researched Hawaiian shamanism. In the West, it is known as Huna. I was particularly interested in the field of Hoo'ponopono, which is primarily about re-learning our own capacity for acceptance.
• In Peru, I met a shaman who was over 80 years old. I also met his wife and took part in ceremonies with them.
All of these experiences have profoundly expanded and impacted my view of the world of medicine.
I learned that it is worthwhile to get in touch with our own primal fears and dark sides in order to free ourselves from the emotions that are the triggers of illness. In doing so, I realized that our subconscious minds create these emotions themselves through long-established programs and patterns.
I came to the profound realization that we tell ourselves stories and suffer until we are able to recognize that it is a story and let go of it.
Today, I know that it is about re-establishing the connection between our feelings and our minds, going into our hearts, and taking responsibility for our own lives. This enables us to get in touch with our inner innate life pathway and ignite our
My insights & beliefs
Today, we have valuable methods to help us transform stressful situations and regain personal responsibility for our lives. In addition to HUNA and shamanic energy medicine, I also employ THEKI® in individual sessions.
Much of this has helped me on my journey to sharpen my intuition, make empowered decisions, and become more confident.
I am convinced that it also helped me to have a highly conscious experience of the four different birth experiences.
A traumatic birth in a German hospital, a self-determined birth in a hospital on the Big Island, a natural birth in the jungles of Kauai and a peaceful home birth in Germany.
And I came to realize that the event of a birth is a pivotal moment in our lives, both for the mother and the child, and can profoundly shape our emotional life.
I myself was born with a heart defect by cesarean section, was fed artificially in an incubator, and was not breastfed.
I have observed in myself and in many women how valuable it can be to get in touch with our primal fears and dark sides before we become pregnant and before we give birth. This enables us to recondition our subconscious and enter this phase with greater freedom and self-determination.
Not only will we be doing our children a favor, but we will also be aware of the pregnancy and birth process and be able to tailor it to our own needs.
After all of my experiences in Western conventional medicine, in complementary medicine, and in energy medicine, it became increasingly clear to me:
The feminine heals the feminine.
This applies not only to pregnant women or women wanting children, but also for women who are on their own journey into their consciousness.
Breathing, dancing, singing, ceremonies in a circle and in the community, experiencing nature...
These are experiences that have helped me immensely on my own journey to bring me out of my mind and into my body and my being.
I walked the path of my transformation truthfully and honestly through many mental and imaginative processes, shadow work and self-confrontation.
I would like to share all these experiences and inspire others to recognize that more is always possible than we can imagine.
If we combine these areas in a meaningful way, we can miraculously transform our wounds into inner strength and sovereignty.
We will become independent of outside influences and other people and act out of our own inner core.
I have created pinc paeony to reawaken the power of the feminine in all of us and help us to find our way back to ourselves.
I warmly invite all women to strengthen their roots, to grow, and to blossom.
I am happy to guide you on your journey,
Cornelia Dunckel
